Challenge
STM needed to replace an outdated paratransit booking tool with a mobile-friendly solution meeting WCAG AAA accessibility requirements. The organization also had limited experience developing digital products in-house.
My contribution
I worked closely with the Product Owner to clarify needs and priorities, facilitated workshops, translated requirements into user flows and functional specifications, and prototyped the experience. I then tested the solution with users and iterated with the Agile development team.
Results
The product was delivered on time and on budget. Its success led two other transit agencies to adopt the platform.
