Helped shape two connected cycling products for sister companies Notio and Argon 18, an aerodynamics sensor and an AI-assisted e-bike, and designed their companion iOS apps.
Challenge
Notio had developed a sensor that measures the aerodynamics of the bike and rider, but setting it up and reading the data were too complex for most cyclists.
Argon 18 was developing a new e-bike range with an AI-controlled automatic transmission. The concept still needed to be aligned with customer needs, and a companion app was needed to connect and configure the bike.
My contribution
Notio: I designed the companion mobile app around cyclists' needs, from early whiteboarding sessions to user flows and the native iOS app, simplifying the sensor setup and turning complex aerodynamic data into information riders could understand and act on.
Argon 18: I facilitated product research and discovery workshops to align the e-bike concept with customer needs, then designed the connection and configuration flows, the wireframes and the native iOS app.
Results
In both cases, the work helped finalize the development of the products and supported their commercial launch.
